Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. Most well-known is her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful The Great and Powerful Is Where I Leave You and the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify the Sundance Channel drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress on film and television. She is famous for her role on the drama series Rectify, as well as in the science fiction series Timeless. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera set in Gulf Breeze Florida. The soap show All My Children earned her a prize from the soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. The next couple of years she was mostly a guest actor in a number of television shows. Her role as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the television series Hawthorne received her praise. Gradually, her beautiful looks and powerful acting abilities led to her gaining the trust of her fans. In the year she turned 20 years old, her first movie part was Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her other movies. The role she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television show Timeless in which she portrayed the role of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer has been nominated as an Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's role in Timeless. Timeless has earned the praise of critics.
